Calendar Aug 11, 2024 at 5 pm, runs for 7 weeks

Prerequisite: You must have taken Standup 1 at ColdTowne or get explicit permission from the instructor to register.

In his book Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell said it takes 10,000 hours of proper practice to master anything. So let’s get in the gym and continue honing your comedy chops and growing whether or not it ever moves from a hobby to a profession.

Each class will have a workshop format. In the first half, we learn new tools to get to the funny and work on our jokes with input from other comedians. In the second hour, we will have performance opportunities in the form of an open mic where you’ll learn from your classmates and other comedians around town. It’s everything a growing standup needs – reps, reps, and more reps. Let’s sweat!
